On May 12, 2016,the railway and networking and communication Innovation Lab established by Nanjing Taitung Beijing Jiaotong University had a brief and solemn opening ceremony in Ticom Tech.
Chen Jianping, chief engineer of Nanjing Ticom Tech, gave a report on the preparation work of the construction of laboratory. The main task of the laboratory is to carry out research and experiment on wireless communication, Internet of things and large data in rail transit. The laboratory will become an innovative platform for the transformation of achievements and the training of talents through the cooperation with universities and enterprises, and by taking the complementary advantages.
Ji Rongxin, chairman of Nanjing Ticom Tech,spoke highly of the team lead by Zhong Zhangdui, Professor of Beijing Jiaotong University, which plays an important role in leading and promoting China's railway wireless communication. Nanjing Ticom Tech and the team lead by Zhong Zhangdui began cooperation on the construction of the Qinghai Tibet Railway twelve years ago, which lays a solid foundation for the establishment of joint innovation lab today.
Zhong Zhangdui, professor of Beijing Jiaotong University and member of the CPPCC National Committee, described the construction of railway transportation in China, as well as the grand blueprint of “ Belt and Road” construction.With full confidence, he expects to bring together the superior resources of both parties through joint innovation laboratory, do well in the innovation of railway communication and Internet of things, and make new contributions to rail transportation and intelligent railway construction.
The guests attending the ceremony warmly congratulated on the opening of the laboratory. Meanwhile, they highly appraised that the establishment of joint laboratory was the actual action of implementing the innovation- driven development strategy and the supply- side reform of CPC . They have great expectations for laboratory to make achievements, cultivate talents and make industrialization. They hope that the laboratory will be able to innovate the management system and operating mechanism, so as to ensure that the target can be achieved.
The establishment of the Joint Laboratory will promote the innovation capability of Ticom Tech and have a positive impact to create professional enterprises of rail transit wireless communication.
